Werner is the Chief Executive Officer of InfraRed, a leading global investment manager focused on infrastructure and real estate. InfarRed operates worldwide from offices in London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Seoul and Sydney. With over 120 professionals it manages in excess of USD 8bn of equity capital in multiple private and listed funds, primarily for institutional investors across the globe.
Werner focuses on the development of InfraRed strategy and drives the evolution and growth of the business. He is also involved with the selection and monitoring of investments. He joined the business in 1995, then known as Charterhouse Bank and as Joint Chief Executive of Charterhouse Bank Werner, together with a number of the current senior InfraRed team members, restructured the Bank into an investment business focusing on infrastructure and real estate.
Werner studied Business Administration and Economics at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and subsequently worked as a research fellow at Harvard Business School.
